Wes Conlin, B.Comm., C.A.
Wes, who grew up in a number of communities including Calgary, Williams Lake, Comox, Duncan and Nelson, has been living and working in Chilliwack for the past twenty-five years. He attended the University of British Columbia where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) designation in May 1981. After graduating from UBC, he immediately went into the Chartered Accounting program and obtained his C.A. designation in April 1984.
Wes worked as a C.A. with a local accounting firm, McKnight Johnson & Company until 1989 when that firm merged with a national accounting office. Wes continued to work at that office as a senior manager until November 1996 when he left to set up his own accounting practice. On July 1, 2001 he joined the firm as a partner.
Wes has been director on the boards of the Chilliwack Family YMCA, Big Brothers Upper Fraser Valley, Big Brothers & Affiliated Big Sisters of B.C. and the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce. He is currently treasurer of the Rotary Club of Chilliwack (Friday Club) and is a Director and Treasurer for the Chilliwack Community Arts Council.
Wes is an avid squash player and enjoys music, movies and science fiction novels.
